Dr David Gunn

Dr Gunn is a Brisbane based ophthalmologist specialising in cornea, cataract and refractive surgery. Dr Gunn trained in Medicine with honours and Ophthalmology in Queensland and was awarded the Howsam medal. He undertook subspecialty training in corneal and refractive surgery at the Bristol Eye Hospital, United Kingdom. 

Dr Gunn has a research focus in laser eye surgery and advanced keratoconus treatments. He introduced CAIRS surgery to Australia in 2021 and has performed several Australian and world first procedures in the area of keratoconus. He practices at the Queensland Eye Institute, Brisbane.
