By accepting this offer of travel/accommodation support to attend FOCUS 2024 you acknowledge and agree that:
• accepting this offer presents/raises no conflict of interest concerns;
• it is provided for the purpose of supporting the quality use of medicines through education for the benefit of both patients and health care professionals;
• it is not provided with any expectation upon you in relation to your dealings with Alcon, including but not limited to your decision to prescribe, purchase or recommend Alcon products and services, now or in the future;
• any costs incurred by Alcon for you (e.g., travel, meals and/or accommodation) will be for you alone, Alcon will not cover any costs for partners/spouses;
• in the event that Alcon informs you that information shared during this event is confidential you agree to keep that information confidential;
• should the event be cancelled Alcon is under no obligation to provide airfares, accommodation, transfers or other entitlements and You must not use any airfares, accommodation, transfers or other entitlements as listed in this Agreement;
• Alcon may disclose the details of this agreement (including your name and costs incurred for you) as required by MTAA Code of Practice for medical devices industry and Medicines Australia Code of Conduct; and
• if you are required to notify or seek approval from your employer, or any other party, you have done so prior to accepting this offer.
This agreement shall end upon conclusion of the event and completion of the related travel arrangements. Obligations which are capable of applying after the end of the Agreement will continue to apply including confidentiality.
